چکیده
High-purity quartz (HPQ) is an important material widely used in many high-tech industries. It a product processed from pure natural raw materials, so selecting suitable the key to successfully processing HPQ. Hydrothermal vein one of most likely materials be purified into HPQ because its high SiO2 content. This study focuses on evaluation potential two gold-bearing tailing resources Chibougamau (CBG) and Tianjingshan (TJS). Petrography contents impurity elements samples before after were studied by optical microscope, SEM, Raman spectrometry, XRD, LA-ICP-MS, bulk solution ICP-OES. Petrographic results reveal that major impurities are feldspar, mica, iron compounds, ankerite, rutile, silicate melt, fluid inclusions. LA-ICP-MS analysis result shows between 99.953–99.971 wt.% CBG 99.969–99.976 TJS quartz, respectively, with very low elements, except for Ca. Bulk ICP-OES demonstrates sand has total 56.8 µg·g−1, 13.1 µg·g−1 Al 6.6 Ti, 85.2 29.4 6.1 Ti. Both Ti fit lattice-bound criteria These results, impurities, hosted fluid, mineral inclusions, indicating these hydrothermal can upgraded more advanced methods. Therefore, deposits would considered as future realize efficient recovery utilization tailings improve mine economic benefits.

The Noghduz prospecting area, as a part of the Arasbaran metallogenic zone is located about 20 km east of Ahar, East-Azarbaijan Province. The mineralization host rocks are andesite-trachy andesite with the age of Late Eocene. The hydrothermal alterations exposed in this area are silicic, argillic, and propylitic. Pyrite is the main hypogene sulfide mineral which is accompanied by lesser amou...

15 صفحه اولFrom quartz hazard to quartz risk: the coal mines revisited.
Following the classification of quartz as a human carcinogen by the IARC, many standard-setting committees are currently trying to convert this hazard into their national or EU standards. Since human data to set a safe exposure limit for quartz are limited, we hypothesized that lung burden data on quartz in coal miners' lungs after lifetime exposure could be used to set a non-carcinogenic lung ...

The Baghuo gold mine (Kuhzar) is located about 100 km S-SE of Damghan. The area is part of Torud- Chahshirin volcano- plutonic belt. The hosts of quartz – tourmaline veins are mainly granite, granodiorite and volcanic rocks such as andesite and dacite. Mineralization occurs as a copper- gold bearing silica vein. Quartz, pyrite, chalcopyrite, gold, hematite, malachite, azurite, covellite and Fe...
